Vincent van Gogh painted a series of family portraits for his friend Joseph Roulin, a local postmaster in Arles, France. This painting features Roulin's son, Camille. A second painting of Roulin's wife and daughter can also be seen in the Museum, while a portrait of Roulini himself is on display at the Barnes Foundation Philadelphia.
