While living in Arles, France, van Gogh made portraits of the family of his friend Joseph Roulin, a local postmaster, including this painting of Roulin's wife and infant daughter Marcelle. A portrait of Roulin's young son Camille is also owned by the Museum.
Take short trip down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to the new Barnes Foundation building to find van Gogh's portrait of Joseph Roulin.
